Andover Green
#6d7e77
Andover Green is a quiet, mid-value gray-green, darker and less blue than Artemesia Green, like lichen on slate or pine needles under storm light. It appears in two combinations. Light Brown Drab, a dusty mauve-brown, keeps it soft, while Vinaceous Tawny brings a rust-orange spark and Rosolanc Purple a rich magenta contrast; Light Green Yellow lightens one of the groups with a pale chartreuse. It measures 4.3:1 against white, fine for large type and close to the body-text threshold, and 4.9:1 against black. It suits painted doors, wool coats, and understated interior trim.
