Apricot Yellow
#ffdd00
Egg yolk and marigold petals come to mind with Apricot Yellow, a rich, slightly warm yellow that leans toward gold without tipping into orange. Its saturation is very high and its lightness sits just below the brightest yellows. Paired with Antwarp Blue it delivers a confident, almost Mediterranean contrast; Turquoise Green cools it into something fresh and minty; Burnt Sienna pulls it toward autumn. At 1.3:1 on white it should never carry text there, but black or deep-blue lettering on it reads well, with black reaching 15.6:1. Good for signage, enamelware, and bold tableware.
