Corinthian Pink
#f8b6ba
A warm, rosy pink with a touch of salmon, Corinthian Pink sits high in lightness and leans clearly red with a slight yellow pull. It is one of the more sociable pinks in the book, appearing in a dozen combinations. Next to Slate Color it gains a grown-up, almost Parisian restraint; with Venice Green it turns sunny and coastal; with Etruscan Red it deepens into a tonal terracotta family. On white it manages only 1.7:1, so treat it as a background. Dark text over it works well. Think plaster-pink entrance halls, cotton bed linen and bakery boxes.
