Eosine Pink
#f37f94
Eosine Pink takes its name from eosin, a synthetic red-pink dye, and it has that slightly chemical brightness: a strong pink with a cool lean and only a little yellow. It is one of the most frequent pinks in the book, with fourteen combinations. With Neutral Gray it looks crisp and modern; Red Violet makes it intense and theatrical, and Orange Yellow pushes it into a hot, festive register. White text on it fails at 2.5:1, but black lettering is fine at 8.3:1. It suits fashion accessories, posters and floral prints that want a vivid, unapologetic pink.
