Fawn
#d1b0a7
Fawn is a pale, pinkish beige, like the flank of a young deer or unbleached suede in daylight. The Lab values show a light tone with a mild, balanced warmth from both red and yellow, so it never tips into orange. Against Dusky Madder Violet it looks refined and a little Edwardian; Cerulian Blue gives it a clean, sharp counterpoint, and Scarlet lends it some heat. White text on Fawn fails at 2.0:1, while black on it is comfortable. It suits upholstery, leather goods, neutral packaging and any room that needs warmth without visible color.
