Krongbergs Green

#84875e

Krongbergs Green is a muted sage-olive, a little greener than Light Grayish Olive, like moss on a north-facing wall or a dried bay leaf. It appears in just one combination in the book, beside Salvia Blue, a soft periwinkle-gray. The blue is somewhat lighter, and the two differ mainly in hue, so the pairing feels calm and slightly overcast rather than graphic, like a garden under cloud. It reaches 3.7:1 against white, enough for large display type, and black lettering on it reads at 5.6:1. Use it on painted kitchen cabinets, woolen throws, or the background of a botanical print.
