Lemon Yellow
#f8ed43
Lemon Yellow is a touch cooler and softer than the book's pure Yellow, with a green lean (a* around -9) that gives it the sharp, citrus look of fresh peel. It appears in fifteen combinations, a sign of how readily it mixes. Venice Green turns it into a breezy, poolside duo, Seashell Pink warms it toward sherbet, and Taupe Brown grounds it with a dark plum-brown that makes the yellow glow. At 1.2:1 against white it is no text color, while dark ink on it reads clearly at 17.2:1. It suits kitchen tiles, summer textiles, and highlight panels in print.
