Light Grayish Olive
#848061
A soft gray-green with just enough yellow to read as olive, Light Grayish Olive looks like sage leaves dried on the stem, and with a lightness of about 53 it sits near the middle of the scale. It appears in two combinations: once with Apricot Yellow, where it calms a loud, sunny gold, and once with Spinel Red and Ivory Buff, where the rose pink brings out its greener side. At 4.0:1 on white it handles headings and large labels but falls just short for body copy; black reaches 5.2:1 on it. It is useful for quiet cabinetry, plaster finishes, and linen.
