Olive Ocher

#d6b43e

Olive Ocher is a warm mustard, a little more golden than Pyrite Yellow and noticeably more saturated, with the dry, chalky warmth of an earth pigment. Against Deep Slate Green it sits like gold leaf on a dark bottle-green ground. With Violet it becomes a near-complementary pairing that feels theatrical, and Olive Green keeps it in a quieter, all-earth register. A 2.0:1 ratio on white rules it out for type there; dark text set on it reaches 10.5:1. It works well in woven throws, mustard upholstery against dark walls, and screen-printed posters.
