Orange Citrine

#986f2d

Orange Citrine is a warm golden brown, close to bronze or the color of a well-baked crust, sitting almost exactly at mid-lightness. That middle position gives it a rare property: it reaches 4.5:1 against white and 4.6:1 against black, so it can carry ordinary text on either, if only just. In the book it meets Pompeian Red and Salvia Blue for a warm-cool balance, and Deep Slate Olive, a near-black green, alongside Corinthian Pink and Cream Yellow for a softer, forest-floor mood. It suits leather goods, bronze-toned packaging, and autumn print work.
