Pale Lemon Yellow
#ffefae
Pale Lemon Yellow is a light, buttery yellow, nearly white but with a clear yellow push in its Lab reading and almost no red or green lean. It is the most frequent color in this range, with nineteen combinations. Raw Sienna gives it an earthy, Mediterranean warmth; Dark Tyrian Blue frames it with deep navy contrast; and Red Orange makes a bright, festive pair. On white it barely registers at 1.2:1, so use it as a ground, where black type reads at 18.2:1. It suits kitchens, breakfast rooms, packaging and page backgrounds.
