Raw Sienna
#bb7125
Raw Sienna is named after the yellowish-brown earth pigment from around Siena, and the data shows that heritage: a mid-tone with a strong yellow lean and steady red, reading as baked clay or amber honey. It appears in nineteen combinations, among the most of any color here. With Pale Lemon Yellow it looks sun-filled and Mediterranean; Slate Color gives it a sober, architectural edge, and Veronia Purple adds an autumnal richness. White text on it scores 3.8:1, suitable for large type only. It suits terracotta-style interiors, leather goods and earthy packaging.
