Sulpher Yellow

#f5ecc2

Sulpher Yellow is a very pale, creamy yellow with a faint greenish lean, the color of sulphur powder dulled to parchment. Its lightness of 93 makes it almost white. With eighteen combinations it is one of the book's most useful light tones. Black frames it crisply, Carmine Red gives it a rich, warm counterpart, and Cossack Green grounds it in a muted, botanical pairing. At 1.2:1 on white it cannot carry text, but black on it reads at 17.7:1. Use it for paper stock, wall paint, table linens or a soft web background.
