Violet Carmine

#713b4c

Violet Carmine is a deep, wine-colored plum with a warm red lean, like a glass of claret held to the light. It appears in a single four-color combination alongside Vistoris Lake, Laelia Pink and Black, a palette of dark, muted plums lifted by one dusty pink. On white it reaches about 8.6:1, more than enough for body text, though it is nearly invisible against black. It works for velvet upholstery, wine-bar branding and the interior of a jewelry box lined in soft fabric.
