Hay's Russet
#793327
Hay's Russet is a deep, reddish brown, darker than Brown and with stronger red, like rust on dark iron or a well-aged mahogany. It appears in eleven combinations. Sea Green gives it a sharp, unexpected contrast; Dusky Madder Violet folds it into a dark, enveloping pairing; and Cameo Pink lightens it with a soft, rosy partner. At 9.1:1 against white it reads easily as text, so it can stand in for black where a warmer tone is wanted. Try it on library shelving, wool coats, chocolate packaging or a dark accent wall.
